As an African American man, designer, and inventor, I’ve always been passionate about creating products that uplift culture and fill real gaps in the market.

Loc Hoopz started with a conversation, inspired by Lucie — and a realization — that people with textured, loc’d, or braided hair often have to compromise when it comes to curling tools. That didn’t sit right with me.

So I set out to design something different. Something better.

Loc Hoopz is a patented, heat-free curling tool made to work with your hair —
not against it. It’s soft, reusable, and designed to protect your crown while
giving you the freedom to style with confidence.

While inspired by the needs of the Black community, this product is for anyone who embraces natural texture and wants a healthier, more comfortable way to curl.
